Certificates
We are the proud owner of the OEKO TEX Certificate
Although each yarn manufacturer can ensure that its fibers meet the highest standards, these declarations are not always sufficient. Therefore, there are many notifying bodies around the world that confirm the quality of materials used in the production of fabrics, knitted fabrics, cotton strings and other haberdashery products.
One of the most recognizable marks for textile products is the OEKO-TEX® standard.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is widely recognized around the world. The headquarters located in Switzerland supervises regional units whose headquarters can be found in virtually every country. In Poland, supervision is exercised by the Textile Institute in Łódź.
Tests for the content of harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® are generally adapted to the purpose of the fabrics and materials from which they are made. The intensity of testing depends on the product's contact with the skin.
In this context, we distinguish four product classes according to OEKO-TEX®:
Class I: Articles for babies and small children up to 3 years old (underwear, rompers, clothing, bed linen, terry products, etc.)
Class II: Articles worn next to the skin (underwear, bed linen, T-shirts, socks, etc.)
Class III: Articles used away from the skin (jackets, coats, etc.)
Class IV: Finishing and decorative materials (curtains, tablecloths, upholstery covers, etc.)
What are the certification requirements?
The condition for obtaining a certificate according to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is that all criteria are met by each part of the article. Additional conditions include the introduction and maintenance of operational quality assurance measures, as well as legally binding company signatures and declarations of compliance by the applicant.
